National Education

The Original Department of Education was meant to gather statistics of every school. It would study the teaching method of each state and spread that information to every other state, since the best teaching methods should be spread for the growth of every state together. It taught basic education as well as morals and how to be a good citizen. Education was meant to reduce tempers, and encourage the growth and building up of the country.

Education is important as it is a process by which the government can provide its people with a universal, inalienable right for the pursuit of their happiness. Education can only assist the population in understanding what is available in the world. Education allows the understanding of political messages, to witness manipulation, to expand the world

The mobility of families and the individuality of each school means that every student may miss a subject or fall behind. Instead, elementary and middle school classes should be a set teaching pattern built from set overarching lesson plans so that each class of each grade across the nation is teaching and learning the same thing. But, only the overarching lesson plan should be given, the specifics should be left up to individual teacher’s as they know their students best. A universal manual should be provided for each grade (elementary) or each class (middle school) with suggested readings or topic orders to teach. This would encourage a universal pattern so that moving will not cause a major loss of education.
