There have been very few studies investigating the actual differences between a transgender and a cis individual. As such, an actual study should be performed to determine at what point is a physical difference created in the developmental process of the human body. There are plenty of records and studies proving males in top physique are inherently faster and stronger than females post puberty. However, before puberty, the difference is less pronounced. Thus a study of Transgender individuals who underwent the transition process at different points in their life (prior to puberty, post puberty, or during growth spurts) compared to the physical capabilities of cis individuals of similar age and physique would provide unique insights in both the transgender process and in human biology in general.

Also of note, while certain activities (like running and lifting) have a capability difference that is provable, there are several sports that are less directly provable (like darts) as the difference may be more psychological, or socially available/normal rather than physical.

No matter what this study discovers, this doesn’t need a teacher or coach in middle school to physically check if the student is physically one gender or the other, it just needs to be documented whether the procedure has been completed or not via a checkmark on a piece of paper. No one should have to be looked over, naked, in a bathroom by an adult.

This is a study that should be performed under the direction of the Department of Health and Human Services, though the results will be of value to several departments.
